the “is penny alone or are there other people doing voices??” comments continuing into Ch 5 deltarune streams is so funny to me because in part 1 there is a bit where i literally add someone else to the call briefly and you can tell based off of the fact that her avatar visually shows up beside me

using the steam machine i’ve developed a longing for a plugin that can, like, add extra menus and plugin shortcuts as extra quick access menu tabs. like under where the decky plugin icon normally is, yknow. but as far as i can tell nothing like that exists which is a real bummer.

wait i temporarily deleted the follow ups to my tweet about rebirth on steam machine cause i realized cyberpunk has frame gen on so my 80+ fps claim might have been a bit misleading. im doing some extra testing rn with it off (point still stands overall)

the steam machine has revealed to me that ff7 rebirth is, like, HORRIBLY optimized on PC. either that or it’s got some weird proton performance degradation going on cause even at 1440p i need ALL low settings AND dynamic resolution to hit 60fps.

i keep saying it post-chapter 5 especially but i really feel like deltarune is one of my favorite stories ever told by this point. every route, every facet. it's just all so compelling to me and it's got everything i love about storytelling and character development.
