The Bar Council, some leading lawyers and now the Justice Minister have all come out in defence of the cab-rank rule in the context of FG attacks. While we can't see what impact the strategy will have on polling day yet... it's hard not to see this as an own goal for the Party of Law & Order ™️

At a canvass in Ranelagh today, a group of three 15 year old boys came to see if Catherine Conolly was with us. They really liked her & wanted a photo. Also had an Indian couple come up and ask the same, though they pointed at Ivana Bacik who they thought was @catherinegalway.bsky.social ! #aras25
