I have three Grandfathers. The two I was raised with and a biological. All three served in WWII. I lost two uncles in the last year, both Vietnam veterans. All suffered some damage from PTSD to alcoholism. We owe a debt to the lives that suffered the consequences of war.

I love finding new poetry books. I found this one “Sex and Oatmeal.” So far, it does feel like a debut, but a good one. It’s very sweet. I think the Poet had a specific audience targeted. However, I think he shows a lot of promise for real depth. #BookSky

I figure this is as good a place as any to ask for parenting advice. I have full physical and legal custody of my children, ages 13 and 14. I’ve always facilitated time and encouraged my exhusband to spend more time with them. But they spend 12 hours with him Friday evening to Saturday, noon. 1/

This one time when the 13 year old was a newborn, I was changing his diaper and he had that runny newborn poop, he farted. He farted in the poop and sent poop flying all over me and got some on my mouth. My mouth was closed, but still. That’s what today has been like. Baby shit on the mouth.
