If you really want to hit US big tech, then digital taxes are not quite it (as laid out below). But equally importantly, it would be strategically mad to retaliate through coordinated taxes (which require cumbersome unanimity/broad agreement) rather than the EU’s swift and powerful trade tools.

Ich bin froh, dass der Bundestag die Grundgesetzänderung verabschiedet hat. Die neue Regierung bekommt finanzielle Spielräume - u.a. für zusätzliche Verteidigungsausgaben, die dringend nötig sind, wie Russlands Ablehnung des vorgeschlagenen Waffenstillstands noch einmal deutlich zeigt.
