The company I work for sells to Canada. And we are in a red state. I asked my boss if she thinks it will affect us. She repeated Trumps justification for what he does word for word and said she agrees she is tired of the rest of the world using us so she isn’t worried. Wow.

I agree in theory that we shouldn’t need DEI programs. People should be hired no matter the color of their skin or if they have disabilities or if they identify as male or female or a myriad of other reasons. But the fact is that won’t happen without DEI.
