Dude I'm not even a NSFW artist and I think it in all its forms should have a place here because there is no way in hell some mod or 3rd party auto solution is gonna ever get it "right". People can already curate their feeds and they have some moderation tools, who is all that stuff really harming

I don't think motivating people to move to other platforms to avoid the stupid censorship rules is a good solution. Quite the opposite. There is NO SAFE space for artists nowadays, if we don't fight back this will only get worse and worse

Bsky, we can't lean into a future where regulating social media means blanket rules that enforce unwanted censorship. The responsibility needs to be on the creator to label, and on the consumer to filter out the unwanted based on it. Not on gradually eliminating more and more content altogether.

Very disappointed in @bsky.app for choosing to silence artists, self moderation is the way. People can block and move on if they don't like what they see. Censorship is never the way. It's a double edged sword and it WILL be used to hurt creatives.

started playing Draw Steel so I doodled my character, Opaline! She was created by the goddess of time and space herself to assist the monarch of a nation in a terrible war against dragons. Opaline loves learning about "human culture" and is basically an alien. Her class is Chronopath/Time Mage! ⏳
