gingaman is weird for me because i think the show is really solidly written but all the problems i have with it are with the designs (as in a lot of them end up being vaguely offensive or kinda ugly). kind of the opposite of what usually happens

hey btw if you can pour hours of energy into your oc's when it comes to research, design, themes, etc then you can do the same when it comes to avoiding racist tropes, traits, etc. you can't say "it's just fiction" when their is real life harm that is perpetuated from these things

Ultraman Omega is awesome because the protagonist will look into the camera and say "i love my friends, especially ayu!" and then not tell said ayu anything about himself for no stated reason

i really like the villain setup in gingaman. each villain general only having 10 or so episodes before they get kicked to the curb for failing too much keeps the pacing good and each general also gets their own type of villainous plans to do which keeps everything feeling varied

baaghi 4 has perhaps one of the dumbest meet cutes of all time: the hero is chasing a robber and he grabs the heroine's phone to throw at the robber to stop him. the phone breaks and when the heroine is like hey why did you break my phone the hero makes fun of her for being on her phone all the time

baaghi 4 came out on streaming so i am officially caught up again on my stupidest achievement: watching every tiger shroff film
