I don't know how anyone can advocate in good faith as pro digital-only when it comes to game consoles. the only pro I can imagine is a shrinking of overhead costs for Sony and Microsoft, and.. it's not like they'll ever transfer those savings to you.

The digital-only Playstation news is so bleak, but it's part of a bigger trend: Sony, Microsoft and Nintendo want to lock you into higher game prices, for sub-par digital storefronts, with less sales, and a games library that *WILL* be taken from you. And they expect customers to say “thank you.”
