Augustiner Keller is the heaven place on earth that song is on about.

Lovely time in Munich, with a trip to Hirschgarten on the last day. A short way away from some palaces, this biergarten was a nice escape from the heat and maximalism of German royalty. Collect your glass, go to the kiosk, get it filled, and pay. Easy as. Tergernsee Spezial was pouring nicely.

At the second time of trying we got to The Palm Tree, Mile End Park when it was open, and it was worth the wait. Another world when you stepped in with the lighting. Cash only, circular bar in the middle, really good jazz band playing. Just a shame we only had enough notes for a few of pints.

I’m veggie so didn’t eat the oysters, but I loved The Cow, London, and it was some of the best Guinness I’ve ever had.

If you ain’t matching your pint with your hat then are you even boozing. My first pint of @queerbrewing.bsky.social cask, ‘Bitter Old Queen’ at Chesham Arms.

Every time I’m in London I end up at The Harp, Covent Garden drinking Harvey’s ‘Sussex Best’. One of my favourite pubs, and it was good to be their in the sunshine with the windows open, watching people shuffle by.

American 🐋 🐳 down in Southend at Stoked Vegan BBQ. Amazing place doing tasty af vegan food, with a fridge full of US treats. Pliny is obvs still great, but it’s a testament to the current UK beer scene that it doesn’t feel as far ahead as it once did.

Cheeky T Unashamedly love Tennent’s. Did the tour the other week. A tight hour of info that was interesting and well done. Learning about the German influences on the beer made a lot of sense. The tour also came with a beaut pint of unpasteurised Tennent’s Lager. Crackin’ beer.

Lovely afternoon spent boozing in the bloody amazing Koelschip Yard, Glasgow. First picture is Dookit Brewing ‘Southside Pale’, then carried on the session with a pint of Otherworld Brewing ‘Adrift’.

The Steps Bar Full disclosure I didn’t actually have a beer in Steps Bar in Glasgow, I had to drive back to Manchester so opted for an Irn Bru. I just sat back and admired how lovely the place was

It’s just a pub, aye, but it’s a bloody good one init. My first time in The Laurieston, we went back three nights in a row. Boozed on Tennents, Baby Tennents, Jarl, and the ‘middle’ Guinness. Great looking pub, excellent staff, booze flowing, vibes impeccable. Can’t wait to go back.

Possibly the best beers I had in Serbia were at the Gvint Brewery taproom. Real good lagers and the like. Ordered this Irish Red Lager just because I saw the glass and really liked it. It was a bangin’ pint.
