against all odds, it's friday again

maybe the happiest i've ever been was dancing in a crowd all night a few years ago i have plenty of regrets but dancing with friends and neighbors and family to great music will always fill my heart with love

thinking about Crooklyn again (the 1994 Spike Lee movie and its enormous, iconic 1970s needle drop soundtrack)

the air quality being bad has got me feeling real silly that i've been smoking from a filthy bowl 😔 i will clean it now...

I've been slowly developing a nice friendship with a chicken who insists on sleeping in a big tree every night

not pleased that my dad is insisting on doing yard work with the air quality this bad, but at least i have convinced him to wear a mask :/
