Ittledew is just Zelda. For the sequel, they made it longer and made it Soulsy. It worked, it was fun. But it didn't add anything to the pitch for me personally.

Cyberrats character creation in 30 seconds

Your spaceship (currently called THE ASTRID, but one of our reward tiers lets you rename it after your own pet, loved one, or hubris) starts with 2 rooms: The Medbay and the Repair Bay. These let you head Operatives and Mechs. For mechs, you can choose fast or cheap, depending on urgency.

I buy Switch indies day one to support the devs but hold off on playing them as a motivator. Right now I have Caves of Qud, Blue Prince, Dread Delusion, Perfect Tides: Station to Station, and Mina the Hollower loaded but unopened. That's how dedicated I am to making sure deadlines get hit this week.

Cyberrats has strong XCOM inspirations, and that includes BASEBUILDING! It's not as Tetrisy as what I've seen @/binarystar.games do, but it works like this: you've got a spaceship with limited space (heh) for expansion. Spend Construction Pieces on a room to unlock new passives, powers, and more!

There's another way out that I won't spoil. But if you follow the easy path the game gives you, the Manager will eventually read out the "bad ending" text. Many RPGs are built around bloodshed and violence without inspecting them. You can play Cyberrats that way. But I'd consider it a failure.
