Carshare is a fantastic tool to reduce the emissions, cost, and space requirements of private car ownership. Every carshare vehicle replaces 7-10 private ones! This is great news for Ottawa-Gatineau and really wonderful to see a regional approach to seamless, sustainable transportation.

line 6 finch west begins revenue service demonstration this saturday, the final stretch to opening. this process takes 30 days, meaning you can expect to ride the LRT in the 4th-5th week of october (barring any issues). so, line 6 is now officially ahead of line 5 to open. made that bet in 2022 🙃

There’s a cyclists’ die-in happening in my #Montreal neighbourhood right now! The intersection of two major thoroughfares, Bernard and Ave. du Parc, has been blocked off at the height of rush hour. (A child was run over and killed by the driver of a truck here earlier this year.)
