Great weekend of magic Went 3-1 at pauper FNM. Played mono red madness, beat gardens, ponza, and elves lost to pestilence. Meta was not snake friendly happy I put delver away for the time being. Top 8’d Sunday‘a RCQ placed 6th but the store cut to top 4. 3-2 record, excited for bans tomorrow.

3-1 at FNM into 7th place at the NRG pauper 1k. Happy to break delver back out for some big tournaments but will be shaking things up soon. Azure Fleet Admiral was awesome in the side. Local store had 6/8 in top 8 and my two teammates split finals, was a great day.

As we cycle through decks so quickly through all the new standard sets I think supporting pioneer as a space for players to keep their old standard decks but upgrade them with stronger tools is really important But what do I know

Just finished the fifth stormlight archive book. Was my least favorite of the five but really enjoyed the series overall. Excited to read the next era and clean up the remaining Cosmere stories I have outstanding. Journey before destination.

2-2 with gruul monsters think I’m retiring the deck going to switch back to madness for spooky season. Happy to have a fun deck built but without card draw feels very feast or famine.

Beat hades 2 yesterday. Didn’t mind the ending thought and I thought the gameplay was so fun. Game of the year race is going to be so tight this year.

Played gruul monsters in pauper last night. Rough debut for the deck went 1-3 losing to mono red madness twice and lost a close gain to my brother on mono u fairies. Beat Dimir terror and won a practice match against mono u terror so I’m going to keep tinkering with the deck.

Tomorrow we gather for LagerTown at the brewery. Alongside limited steins and stickers, this year’s commemorative tee awaits – cream print on cypress, classic fit with structured shoulders and a ribbed neck. Soft yet durable, made to last through Oktoberfest for many years to come.

I know it’s not everyone’s favorite but I really enjoy Aetherdrift limited. Always happy when it comes up in the quick draft rotation.

2-1 in standard with Boros mice losing to esper pixie in the finals and then 3-0 in Bloomburrow draft with Izzet otters. Pack one pick one was Alaina the divergent storm and it put in work. Played against Gruul raccoons, Orvoz bats, and Selesnya rabbits.

After a 4-3, 6-3, 3-3, and 1-3 I finally got there with golgari ramp. Green feels super busted in edge of eternities, not my favorite limited format but I’m having some fun with it!

Heart breaking 6-3 but this is the coolest Tarkir deck I’ve ever built. Lost to two other Temur decks and then fell to an Abzan aggro deck that played like 6 removal spells right before I stabilized.

Magic has been real fun lately. Pauper community been going strong, Edge of Eternities pre release was great (forgot to take picture of deck my but we went 3-1 with Mardu, devastating onslaught single handedly won me 4 games), and I’ve been enjoying losing to my brother in sealed!

Got there with another FF quick draft. Azorious beats ended up getting the job done. Buster sword over performed, Titus under performed. The evasion from flying is huge in this format. Punted in the last game to barely miss the 7-0. Loving this limited format.

7-2 in first final fantasy quick draft. Losses were to a grixis deck where I couldn’t find my islands and another Dimir deck that was on the play and curved into a bomb. Dimir felt very very strong.
