Chicago — again you showed that beer, hot dogs and actual dogs are the holy center of summer. You annihilated thousands of Vienna Beef hot dogs without a single ounce of ketchup. You made up for it with the sheer number of sport peppers consumed.

Nothing does it better after a day of dogs than a fresh duo of Diver Seltzers in the beer garden. Blackberry runs deep purple and ripe, while Prickly Pear pours juicy and bright with soft floral depth, a tart cran-cherry lift, and a clean finish. Both 5% ABV. Taproom only.

Only Gold merch to round out the Dog Walk. This Saturday at Balmoral we will have a full-color 22" bandana featuring this year’s art with all the fixings, plus adult and kids tees with the matching 5-color hot dog parade treatment. Both are soft, lightweight and ready for summer.

Around here, there is a certain space between seasons, when spring still has a crispness but the patio is already calling. We wanted to fill it with delicious beer, so we brewed In The Main – a rustic lager carefully careened off the energy mountain of a Maibock.
