I think I personally dislike “content” because the word is intended to be solely consumer-facing. It implies it’s like video game loot, there for the taking and of no provenance. A project, a production, or art suggests that somebody applied specific skills to make it, and we can’t have that.

Being asked to do more with less is one of those internet era maxims that seems to imply ingenuity, but is actually just the managerial slogan for squeezing uncompensated labor out of workers unwilling or unable to leave their current employment.

sorry to riff on this but it's also true of writing vs telling an AI to write something.
