I've made myself a lovely new little amp. Valve preamp going into class d power amp. Sounds nice. Still need to play it good and loud to identify any issues. Gig next Saturday should suffice (must remember to take spare amp.)

Been playing a week of gigs in Holland and Belgium. Playing London tonight at New River Studios if anyone is around.

We did the LP on transparent yellow and transparent purple vinyl. Get the yellow version (and the download here): objections.bandcamp.com/album/optimi... The purple LP is still available in a few good independent retailers but don't hang about. This was maybe our best seller of the year.

2024 was massive for Objections. They played the most live shows of any band on the label, did another killer 6Music session, designed their own Muse-rivalling stage set (budget: 16 million pounds) and guitarist Joe both learned to swim and was fired head first at Glastonbury Tor like a dart...

"Optimistic Sizing" really delivers. It's post-punk in the true sense of the word - people playing music as their own language with which to communicate a unique world view. If you dig Nomeansno, The Ex, Erase Errata, Fugazi or even The Jimi Hendrix Experience you're going to love this...

My mum passed away at 3.34pm on Wednesday after a short stay in hospital. It was very peaceful with me holding her hand at the end. Here she is in happier times. ♥️
