We stopped at Stonehenge on the way home. I’ve not need since primary school and remember sitting in the circle to eat out sandwiches. J hadn’t been at all (other than the 50 times we’ve passed on the A304) #chopsglasto

Catching up on holiday snaps. We climbed up the back of Cheddar Gorge to walk the cliff top route to the view. The town was a bit much so we headed to Axbridge for a coffee and enjoyed their historic buildings. Then did a walk round the reservoir #chopsglasto

40 years since my 2nd ever gig and 1st outdoor festival. Marillion were my favourite band and played a brilliant headline set. Jethro Tull were fantastic too (the start of my love of that band). We spent most of the day down the front only leaving during Gary Moore’s blues dirge #chopsgigs

It was surreal catching snatches of the England game as I rushed about London. The Shack had the game on in the bar area, so it was busy when I arrived but turned out most of those people were there for the band. As I snuck out early there was one bloke left watching the game & shouting the TV.

Managed a double header of free gigs last night, stopping off in London after a work trip to Cambridge. Willy Vlautin did a great Q&A at RTE about his new book before playing a short set. Then hightailed it to the Shacklewell Arms to catch Super Jet Kinoko do their psych rock trance thing #chopsgigs
