Just a thought for BipolarSky💈💈 Looking at the "No Kings" protests in the USA yesterday, the proportion of the population attending is of a similar (but not exact) proportion to the number of people with bipolar disorder. It certainly looks like a lot of people!

Bipolar disorder doesn’t feel mundane but really it’s not that unusual. Medical speculation of public figures elevated it incorrectly to the the status of evil villain superpower, missing out the simple observation that said villain may not be not sick, just extremely rich and powerful.

Alright bipolar peeps I am going to tell you something I do. I decided I needed a mental defence against the voice in my head that suggests a permanent solution to transient problems. I also wanted some cold, hard, evidence that I do something worthwhile.

Interesting how a fake diagnosis of bipolar disorder is used to cover up aviation safety issues. The pilot, who doesn’t have bipolar disorder, is an incredible woman. Wouldn’t say no to Julia Roberts playing her in a movie!

Did my DBT session today. We were actually discussing all sorts, and focused on my creativity. Of course, I'm too old for electric guitars and unrequited love poems, I might have to take up hat making or I dunno, wedding dresses for cats.

(Also if I had bipolar depression and I saw a friend of mine say something like “he’s just cheering for Hitler bc he’s bipolar” I’d promptly stop being your friend.)

💈💈With all the aggro about slebs on the TL, I thought I would try to brighten it a little something from Spike Milligan, UK and Irish National Treasure who had bipolar disorder. This is a very corny joke, the delight is when you work out how to use sometime in your own life.

Do you know what's missing from the current discourse is the qualifiers? It's "Elon is bipolar demon sex pest bipolar ketamine racist" Not "Look, one of my friends is bipolar, and she's had a real hard life. I see what she goes through, and I wonder if Elon has the same thing". It's got nasty.
