Scaling resources to zero is easy. It's scaling FROM zero that is the problem. So these days, I learned it is possible to manually add an endpoint to kubernetes service, so scaling up could be done without intercepting all requests to a service.

This also represents Conway's law where your solution ends up being shaped by organization constraints.
