It's more important to make games in general run better on lower end hardware PERIOD. So many AAA or even AA devs get these super rigs and don't remember a lot of people are still working with stuff from the GTX 1000 and RX 500 era.

There is now a way to remap your curve values in your rigs in UE5.7, its the Rig Mapper. An avatar base with Unified Expressions morph targets (for VRChat FaceTracking) following Metahuman's Facial Board controls, I am still working on mapping. It also works in Live Link Performance! #unreal #UE5

I have worked on a framework for items to interact with GAS, using GameplayTags as a metadata for housing soft references and unload them out of the collection safely. Currently, tags for Quality apply VFX, mesh, name and .Buff.*/.Debuff.* tags once picked up, and we set magnitudes individually.

Looks like Unreal Engine 6 has been revealed, and maybe Verse is going to start getting widely adopted. Verse is a new scripting language revealed by Epic for UEFN creators, which is going to be the standard programming language for scripting and so on. Will blueprints stay the same with C++ or...?
