The EU is pushing for a rapid deal for the UK to rejoin the Erasmus+ programme to allow student exchanges between the two sides from January 2027.. Negotiations are at a critical juncture and a deal is needed by the end of October if the UK is to join the scheme in a little over a year.

I thought maybe I was too old to cope with new technology, especially after the Virgin Media help desk told me there was ‘no such model’ as the phone I’d just bought. Turns out it was a mobile reception outage on Sunday, just as I was transferring to my new phone. Coincidence, or did I cause it? 🤔
