I have two medium sized turbots to slow roast (as one does). Any related suggestions (cooking, basting etc etc) would be much appreciated. cc

This really neatly dovetails (amazingly) into the Slovenian philosopher Mladen Dolar’s idea of voice *and* the

As good as Stephen says. Like much of modern social media, the promise is neither friends nor companionship, the promise instead is refracted shades of yourself.

I had a long and complicated response to this but instead…doing trade deals is actually very easy…you just agree to what your counterparty wants…which is an asymmetric result *for you*…the defining (wrong way round) result of Brexit.

It is interesting and who knows re the cost estimate - not least because the tapestry is enormous (ie comparing to a single painting is not helpful). Fwiw I imagine some sort of replacement cost estimate (think Notre-Dame) — £800m ~ £1.7k per cm squared.

So we’re watching the new Stranger Things and one very curious aspect is the sequence of very long scenes between different pairs of characters in which they discuss a plot development at interminable length
