Everything's kinda fucked right now. For the last six months, the German immigration office has been dragging their feet or misinforming me, and only now, with just weeks left in my temporary visa, they reject my freelancer residency permit. Hiring a lawyer, but...I'm scared as hell.

I mentioned the other day that I'm working on a game with @litemechanist.bsky.social LitKit is envisioned as a narrative-heavy game about a revolution against an exploitative coalition of space colonies with two separate, but tightly interwoven gameplay loops: Slice of Life, and Tactical Mecha RPG.

BE ADVISED: Stories from Sol: The Gun-Dog is one of the best love letters to 80s/90s mecha anime out there, and it's all wrapped up in a sharply written and beautifully presented visual novel/point-and-click format. If you like Gundam or Space Battleship Yamato you must play this game. Go get it!

As part of that project I mentioned earlier, I've been dipping into #pixelart. This is...new territory for me, but I'm happy with my progress. I'm not quite as thrilled with this set (mostly the character's hair), but it works just fine as a placeholder until I finalize a design. #retro #ドット絵
