The coolest thing I ever got out of video games is connecting with people around the world and learning all sorts of things about dialect and culture. Really fun to hear different words used for different things. And fast food menus. 😂

LRP: Getting sucked into the pressure of needing my art to "perform well" and to compete with my peers stifled my progress and creativity. I've still a ways to go before I find success again but stepping back from that grind mentality helped me improve.

Art should not be rushed. The monetization of art as "content" and merchandising has lead to its mass production and consumption, and now people expect good art delivered to them faster. That's just not possible! Let art take time. A good meal has to COOK and art is similar.

It was very crowded at the stationery expo in LA and I'm not surprised because stationery is something anyone can enjoy. The event was well organized and a unique experience! ♥️ (Faces blurred in photo for privacy)

When I went to the stationery expo here I talked to the person at the leuchtturm1917 booth and told him I loved my journal and how the paper takes marker ink and I filled it out and he said "thank you for being part of the leuchtturm family" 🥹
