I think #Returnal is one of those games that sneaks up on you. I put this game off for a while because of the talk of difficulty and whatnot but a friend convinced me to pick it up to play with her and honestly this might end up being my favorite game from the last few years

constant advice I give to folks in this space is to consume more than just games / games media. read books. watch/read about sports. listen to unfamiliar music. see a movie that isn't an established IP. if your world only holds games, that's the only context you'll be able to see them in.
