Hoosier families are not ok. This article states one of the justifications for rolling back child labor laws is “parental rights.” Parental rights to what? To force kids to work? Note the U.S. is the only UN member who hasn’t ratified the 1989 UN Convention on the Rights of the Child.

Human beings deserve human rights. All of them. Even ones whose governments and/or representative bodies commit atrocities. Even ones who--yes-- commit atrocities themselves. You don't lose your right to human rights, ever. That's why they're called inalienable human rights.
