It should be a scandal that ADF now regularly appears as attorneys for state governments, not merely as amici. Even just a few years ago, this was understood to be wildly inappropriate. It’s a religious ministry filing in the name of the state.

Virginia Democrats will be able to replace 1 of the 4 state Supreme Court justices in the majority here (Kelsey) in early 2027. If they retain a combined majority of all 140 House and Senate seats after the 2027 elections, they could replace another of the 4 justices (McCullough) in early 2028
