Interesting. Looks like the US may have promised to burn and use more gas than it's able to produce... some customers are going to be very unhappy, particularly US domestic customers. But I wonder whether it'll also hit exporters, or the data centres in the US that are planning to rely on gas power?

When you use ChatGPT you're getting your information from (Mecha)Hitler. This could happen with any information you get from AI sources. The original source is quite likely to be Russian propaganda, right-wing misinformation, or any outright lie that someone's put on the internet. Don't use genAI.

This is an excellent analogy, because my recollection from grade school is that the pen on the right looks fun and exciting, and then you play with it for a few minutes and realize it's not actually useful for anything and in fact makes some tasks more cumbersome, and never think about it again.

If you still think fossil fuels should be used to generate power, look at these curves. Those aren't reversing. (Presumably includes "power initially generated by wind/solar which is stored in batteries", as they're not a separate category).

It might sound silly, but I mean it: The easiest and most potent way for Europe to hurt Trump this year is to once again use its cultural soft power and to threaten a boycott of the World Cup.
