My pet theory: Frankenstein doesn't sew together body parts to make his monster. He studies corpses, but creates it by a new method he refuses to detail. He makes a *second* monster on a nigh-uninhabited island. The 'flesh golem' is from the 1931 film. (He uses another method in the 1910 film.)
