Just got blocked from a conversation about Tom Morello before I could explain that he had booked Pantera to support Black Sabbath and that was not in line with his political beliefs. Seems despite three people asking for clarification, I’m not allowed to clarify. Odd place this.

A lot of my favourite radio shows are also the ones who give me airplay and I like to pretend that’s convergent evolution…..anyway track off the new album straight after David Lynch, can’t say fairer than that.

I wouldn’t tell him to his face because it would make him uncomfortable but if this man wasn’t making the music he was making 20years ago I wouldn’t have had enough faith to make my own. Looking forward to this gig.

BCF so I am compelled to mention the Sunfish Starfish Christmas album Good Tidings which I was still editing at 5am this morning. I’m biased but it actually is really good. All proceeds to the marine Conservation Society in the hopes of cleaner waterways in 2025.

Not recorded a Christmas song for a while but this year I’ve got two, one on the Sunfish Starfish compilation for the Marine Conservation Society (still 1 week to get on board with that if you’re a noise artist) and today’s weird jam just went off to Wormhole World!

I have a new radio show coming up soon on Tak Tent, if anyone’s game I’m collecting answers to the question ‘what makes you happy?’ Sound files can be sent to the culture as a dare gmail which is exactly that without the spaces. It’s worth contemplating today even if you don’t send your answer x

Over on my You Tube this morning I posted a 5 min track of Hay Brings Horses, my jam band with my son. Filmed last year it mostly features us hitting pumpkins with contact mics and delay pedals but also some of his free form jazz drumming.

Man at the corner shop was singing Suzanne Vega and asked about my Mercedes Gleitze pin badge. I would really miss that corner shop if I moved.
