It’s never boring in Rīga. I caught my second Acid Mothers Temple gig of this current tour in my, now, home town. Once again they rocked! A fascinating band that seem to have perfected the endless tour.

I never expected Les Rallizes Dénudés to reach the Guardian.

Good to see Acid Mothers Temple again after nearly 20 years. Even better, I get to see them again on Friday. They really rocked it with a transcendental version of Pink Lady Lemonade.

After a weekend of archery and hiking, a few hours in the sauna eased all the aching muscles. This is the view I had missed from months away from this place.

Seems I am already ahead of last year in the amount of hikes in the wonderful landscape of Latvia. Easter weekend promises to have more in store, but without the blue sky of last weekend (see photo). More sections of the E11 to be completed.

It’s been a bit chilly in Latvia recently. The days are getting lighter and the abundant snow reflects this new light, but still the cold freezes beards and nostril hair alike. I played a show with my newish group Not Not Jazz in the wonderful bar Aleponija - a magical night, which we recorded.
