I'm currently writing a TTRPG, and one thing I'm toying with is collaborative setting generation during session 0. Has anyone tried this? I've read a few systems that do it (Fate, Kids on Bikes), but I've never attempted it myself. Any best practices?

It drives me crazy how AI internalizes loud/common opinions from fandoms without scrutiny. If there is no legitimate scholarship on a topic (say, a beloved but niche piece of media), AI chatbots will output fan consensus as though it were expert criticism.

My grandfather was a flavorist, and when I was 8 or so, he gave me some cotton candy-flavored bubble gum he created. It tasted incredible, but he couldn’t figure out how to keep the flavor from immediately fading and ultimately shelved it. I never got to try it again, and then he died.

For the sake of my mental health and creativity, I'm trying to embrace my musical quirks instead of considering my idiosyncrasies shortcomings.

It was so fun scoring Lou Wilson's first public campaign as GM. Flight of the Icaron is a breakneck 5-episode adventure, but I still had the chance to write some soft, emotive, outer space music for it.
