I think there is a real reason why a lot of older creators fall into the AI usage trap. It often happens to creators who were ahead of their time with technology/style in the past, and think this is their chance to regain the edge, rejoin the young folks, be able to complete another project quickly.

there is rly no such thing as obsolescence as an artist. tech people assume everyone is scared of that the way they are and the whole conceit of being a creative is that it *doesn’t* work that way
