When my youngest was 4,5,6ish, he insisted on wearing a Seahawks jersey pretty much everyday. I was always scouting Marshall’s & TJ Maxx for cheap ones. LOL. That’s the closest we’ve ever come to being sports fans. Still, I love an occasion for hometown pride and it was so fun to watch the game.

I was just updating my project status board and realized I am so far going to have 8 projects under construction this year. Possibly mostly at the same time. That feels like a lot.

When you go to submit a permit to update a 100yo house & the city says “nope, it’s on an abandoned landfill” and you have to break the news to your clients that they have to spend an extra $6k for a geotech to say it’s fine, actually. How’s your day??

My husband has to have a sad call with an elderly immigration client today to prepare her for the fact that there’s a 50/50 chance ICE will pick her up at their hearing this week. This person has no criminal record, works, and is married to an American citizen. Are we great yet? I don’t feel great.
