The details of Microsoft’s voluntary retirement offer for employees who’s age + tenure ≥ 70 years is out. It’s more generous than their most recent layoff packages especially as you get 1 year of your stock vests. Worth taking if one expects to be sacrificed to the AI gods in the next layoffs.

Went by WalMart to pick up some stuff and decided to look at the PC's they had. I checked out an HP laptop of some sort and Windows was pretty responsive. I was shocked because I hear so much hatred toward Windows 11. The laptop was around $600. So inexpensive.

I've come to the conclusion weekends aren't long enough.

Anyone know if it's safe to remove the ceramic coating off of a stainless steel pan and use it? We bought some Made In CeramiClad cookware that has chipped and is outside the warranty window. I'd like to use them as plain stainless if it's safe. Anyone know for sure?

What I like best about the Artemis II photos is that it was taken by actual humans. An actual person had to frame it and manually adjust settings. It's their own artistic rendition of what they thought looked best at the time, something no probe, rover or unmanned spacecraft can take. it's art
