hey, gonna talk about something seriously bumming me out. i developed a smell disorder called parosmia after getting covid back in April. It still hasn't recovered yet. It makes nearly everything overwhelmingly smell like a sweet bleach chemical mix and makes some foods taste atrocious.

when i kinda stabilize myself a bit more, i wanna transition my career from healthcare to veterinary care. maybe become a veterinary nurse or veterinary assistant. only requires some extra schooling that can be done in a year or two. a lot of people in the field were former healthcare clinicians too

sometimes friends mutually grow distant and drift apart. it's a natural thing that happens and isn't the fault of anyone or anything. I've historically had trouble dealing with this and would put way too much time and energy trying to reignite distant friendships that rarely succeed.
