Our first session of the day was entitled ‘From Barriers to Bridges: The Journey to Social Change’, and we heard from four academics about everything from filmmaking in prisons to the impact of forest school on pupils with SEND. #HertsImpactSymposium2025 #ResearchInMotion #HertsResearch

Our second session was entitled ‘Walking and Talking: Building Communities on the Road to Impact’. Five academics shared impact projects on everything from a podcast about close reading literature to the experiences of older male carers. #HertsImpactSymposium #ResearchInMotion #HertsResearch

A beautiful weekend full of sunshine, flowers and some baby lambs 🌞🌸🌷🐑. Yesterday was 20 years since my mother died so this mothering Sunday was tinged with sadness, but I'm so glad I could fill it with things she (and I) loved - including afternoon tea 💞
