I’ve been comparing the different versions of Dead or Alive (1-4) for quite a while, and slowly buying different versions on different platforms. This week I finally got DOA2 on Dreamcast and honestly, with graphics like this, how did Dreamcast fail? What were the marketing departments doing?!

If you’ve not watched The Newsroom, you should. It’s a show that inspires me and gives me hope in people. I know it’s fictional but it was written and performed by people who hope.

Parents: If you want a videogame to play with a small kid, a 5 or 6 year old, ‘Kirby & The Forgotten Land’ is it. It’s easy (and has an easier mode even) and local co-op where your kid can be Bandana Waddle-Dee, who never permanently dies. This game feels like it’s made specifically for parents.

Analogue 3D not having a working ALLM signal in firmware 1.1.0 is a real bummer.

How come we got Typing of the Dead but not Typing Cop or Typing Mission? And why isn’t there a port of Typing of the Dead for mobile?

What are you doing tonight? I’m comparing Ninja Gaiden 4 on Xbox Series X to PS5 Pro. Immediate impressions (after 15 minutes): this game looks beautiful wherever it is! HDR is a must, lots of neon lights and lovely specular detail. Both consoles have 120fps modes which is great. #NinjaGaiden4
