Sometimes I'm glad I don't make a living from writing. Of course I hate my day job and resent how much of my creative energy it saps, but it's nice to not fret about whether anyone actually wants to read whatever naked self-indulgence I produce.

Scrolling Steam, I swear half the indie games are just named like: Cloudshell Village, Sandstar Island, Moonstone Wharf, Treesky Peninsula, Leafwind Archipelago. These are all the same title to me. I will never be able to distinguish between the various Nounnoun Location names.

This skews recent, but the problem with some of the games that once were important to me is that they (or their creators) really didn't age well.
