Being awake before your alarm is the worst but I’ve slept that much over the past few days that it doesn’t feel like too much of a bummer.

I’ve just about survived the sickness bug. A downside of working with kids 😷

If FGR had won, this wouldn’t be happening because RS wouldn’t be throwing his toys. Rather than ppl talking about their loss, they’re talking about the alleged abuse. Convenient eh. He’s quick to dish it out, both as a player and a manager, but can’t handle it in return 😴

Found out who my key children will be in Jan when we have more kiddies in pre-school and I’m so excited. Going from temp and covering for whoever is off each day, to a permanent contract with my own group. A lot can change in a year 🥰

My friend’s daughters’ have made a slideshow of what they want for Christmas instead of writing a Christmas list and this is the level of extra I aspire to be.

Praying my stomach cramps and nausea aren’t the bug that’s going around because being physically sick gives me so much anxiety almost to the point of fear. The joys of working in childcare.

Ran 10k for Baby Loss Awareness Week (5 min run 2 min walk intervals apart from 15 minutes running at the end) and now I need a bath, massage and bacon sarnie in any order, thanks.

Day of compassionate leave today after my grandma’s funeral yesterday. Why am I never able to just relax? Off on Friday (annual leave I’d already booked), do we reckon I’m gonna be able to chill the feck out?

There's plenty of money within football to ensure nothing like this ever happens again. Let's hope the organisations with the power and money to help actually do so, rather than just howling in press conferences how awful it is.

My Grandma was the gentlest soul but had a cheeky sense of humour, so much so that when the doctors said there was nothing else they could do for her, she held on another week and passed away on my wedding anniversary 🥺😭 You will be such a loss in our lives Grans 💔

My grandma’s death was imminent last weekend out of the blue after the hosp were starting to prep her for discharge. A week later and she’s still holding on. She’s not in pain which is reassuring and is able to communicate through yes/no, nodding her head and squeezing your hand. Tough cookie 🥺

One of the weirdest parts of weight loss is people saying they liked the “before” Kayleigh, or that I was still beautiful then . I don’t see it personally, but even if you think that, I was so unhappy and unhealthy. I know people mean well but let me be proud of my progress 🤷🏼‍♀️
