Once again, I am here to prove that anything is a breakfast food if you eat it at breakfast time. Seeded spelt cracker with mackerel pate and avocado slices, sauerkraut, garlic & jalapeño olives and plenty of nuts and seeds.

Boo was always my mum’s favourite. Bertie was too aloof and antisocial. She met Harry and Jessie briefly as I took them to the Midlands with me for the last two weeks when she was dying of cancer. They were too fast moving and chaotic for her so they were kept away from her after an initial visit

An absolute triumph. I topped it with Sriracha. Delicious. This is why I always save leftovers, even tiny scraps of things can make a really nice meal

What’s for dinner? Well I’ll tell you. Fridge leftovers frittata. Cold boiled potatoes, cooked asparagus and leeks and the ends of a truffle Brie
