Made a fun little gimmick for my new years avatar. You don't need to be a wizard to cast fireball, though some magical 'Fireball' whiskey does help.

I love that #VRChat's new items come with working contacts. They're using the 'Fire' tag which means that they are cross compatible with Avatar based systems like my own set of Fireworks and Lighter on my Avi.

Lol, vrc released their own fireworks bundle shortly after I put mine out. Honestly should've expected it. Gonna need to test to see if the contacts on theirs works w/ mine. And I might copy the sparklers being able to light other sparklers bit.

Heard some people complaining about audio being very loud after VRChat's new Steam Audio update. Make sure your audio volumes in the settings are set to ~65% as that apparently is equivalent to 100% from before the update.

I really wish games designers start to consider food and drink as a pool rather than a pill. In other words, munching on food drains its health bar and adds to yours. Food and drink take time to fully consume, and you can hold it as you walk and casually munch, sip and set aside for later.

pro tip for vrchat avatar creators with your facial gestures, make the avatar's mouth reset whenever the voice parameter isn't 0! this way, speaking will never look weird. i handle the face in two separate layers, one for the eyes and one for the mouth so i can still give the eyes extra motion.

Random #VRChat Unity tip that people might not know about. Tagging an object as EditorOnly will exclude it from the avatar SDK stats and will strip it from the avatar when uploaded. This is useful for including things like visual aids on assets or just quickly testing things.
