pro tip for vrchat avatar creators with your facial gestures, make the avatar's mouth reset whenever the voice parameter isn't 0! this way, speaking will never look weird. i handle the face in two separate layers, one for the eyes and one for the mouth so i can still give the eyes extra motion.

Random #VRChat Unity tip that people might not know about. Tagging an object as EditorOnly will exclude it from the avatar SDK stats and will strip it from the avatar when uploaded. This is useful for including things like visual aids on assets or just quickly testing things.

There's a bunch of cool shown on the VRChat Roadmap in this update. Def looking forward to Physbones and Contacts in Worlds. Avatars being able to react to the world via Contacts and vice versa will be game changing. Gonna be looking forward to it!

Soooooo I've been working on a soft outline/glow shader I'll be releasing soon. It gets applied directly to the model's materials, and is everyday usable performance wise! It's not 100% perfect, but pretty close :D This is in a scene with no bloom:

Working on an update to the musket I put out around this time last year along with something extra. Hopefully I can get this out in a reasonable time.

And that's a wrap for #Furality for me. While this wasn't my first Furality it was my first one as a dealer and I enjoyed all the interactions I had w/ people who stopped by my booth as well as the other dealers. Absolutely worth destroying my sleep schedule for. 10/10 would do again.

Fell asleep in the error world waiting for the VRC Servers to come back. Actually though, it was as a good excuse to actually get off and get at least a few hours of sleep.
