Great new #horror read I just finished. Reality bending, thought provoking and definitely a social commentary. But though it was tense, there are laughs as well as cries. I struggled to like the brothers through the first half, but the author redeems their arcs. 5⭐️ #listentoyoursister #booksky

Though I have found wicked alternatives, I find a lot of horror to be glorified stories of misogyny, exulting in the torture and murder of women. Alternatives: Our Shadows have Claws, Taaqtumi, Out there Screaming, Listen to your Sister, and most of what I’ve read from Stephen Graham jones.

Just finished this. A great read that takes you from Pakistan to Toronto and around the world, a beautiful bit of prose that just speaks of the humanity of others in a time when people are willfully ignorant to tolerance. #booksky #readerslife #queermuslimmemoir #canadareads
