I wanted to love the second half of the Beastars anime but the last three episodes really didn't stick the landing. The character resolutions were all about who won the battle between the literal characters and didn't at all resolve the conflicts of ideas that they represented in the allegory. Bleh

I'm really impressed with whoever rewrote the plot of the second half of Beastars for the anime. The replacement of the hyperdrug with an energy drink was a fantastic flourish, and they figured out how to make Melon's thing for Haru and the black market turf war actually make sense. Incredible work.
