PSA: Rider's insane autocomplete can be turned off by disabling "Local Full Line Completion Suggestions" in Editor->General->Inline Completion Every time I hit TAB it was like someone grabbed the steering wheel and drove off a cliff for no apparent reason.

still a very very solid space combat experience. Doesn't waste your time and gets you into the thick of it, with an easy to learn, hard to master flight and combat model. I still can't leave my shield at home to master jump tricks.

Keep thinking about this term "pre-digested" that Kojima used to describe art that's instantly gratifying. And how it's better when people grow to love something instead. I've gravitated, as player and designer, toward the latter, but that term "pre-digested" is new and feels very strong.

I used to be super into designing spacecraft but over the years have sort of maxed out my interest in that particular domain, however once in a while it still Calls to me inb4 'homeworld vibes' lol

I really need to bite the bullet and disappear into Blender/Houdini/Substance land for a while and level up my game art. Houdini is *particularly* interesting because I feel like it could let smaller teams/solos really punch above their weight as long as you don't overdo it.
