So proud to see even in my near-rural town had a massive (for us) rally today. But chronic hats off to the Vet running a propane station up the road who is adding more and more signs to his establishment.

Visited one of my favorite downtown shopping areas today where every ship is a locally owned business. I wish every town was like this. With curated shops for specific interests and a sense of community. Having a dedicated LGBT bookstore is also a big plus tbh.

Finally a nice day. Time to bring my dog on a walk and read a book with the windows open. Time to toss on some music and chill out!

I can officially introduce to you our new family member: Uthred "Uti-Booty"! Uthred is a 3 year old half lab half basset hound rescue who, after being saved from the euthanasia list and shelter hopping, has found his forever home. His favorite things are cuddles, and being told he's a good boi.

Can't sleep. Twelve hours from now I might be introducing a shelter rescue dog to their forever home aka my house. I will be sharing pictures. I will be obnoxious. It is my right.

This dog adoption process has really opened my eyes to what I want in a best furry friend. I always thought I was a spaniel person who dreamt of big dogs. Turns out I love hounds. And big dogs. And spaniels. Terriers are cool. The only breeds I don't want are toys and herders.
