Does anybody have any better insight than me on what to tell my kids right now? My 5yo understands a bit and knows that we left to keep us safe, but my 3yo is *really* struggling rn & it's breaking my heart😞 Ik she's too young to understand, but she wants to see her dad & is practically inconsolable

The fact that I literally have to hide for my life for 33 more hours before I can get an order of protection is actually insane. It's already been over 24hr now. There needs to be a 24hr crisis court to get these things moving immediately honestly

Update: I am okay as of right now. I filed a police report and they are patrolling every 30 minutes. He is now threatening to throw my cat outside & destroy/sell all of my property because I'm not answering Classic signs of an abuser realizing that he is losing control. I just hope we can stay safe

My abuser found out where I'm staying and just threatened to ram his truck through the living room... I have an officer on the way but please pray for us. I am hiding in the basement with my girls and we are terrified.

This world is SO amazing🫶 in the last 24hr I went from leaving a horrible situation w absolutely nothing, to having beds & bedding delivered for both my girls, clothes, shoes, jackets, & even a few toys.. Between the bsky community & local organizations, we are so blessed & incredibly thankful🙏❤️

Update: Thank you all so much for donating🙏 I was able to get my medications, a change of clothes for myself, toiletries, & 2 outfits for each of my daughters. I also got my 3 year old a stuffed animal because she had to leave her special blankie behind in the chaos last night. We are so thankful😭❤️

Update: He found my location... He just sent the police to wake me up & do a welfare check at 3:45am bc I wouldnt answer after 50+ phone calls and 100+ text messages... I had JUST gotten to sleep too😓 The police told me to ignore him but not block bc it's all evidence at this point...
