At the end of the day, don’t we all just want to enjoy chocolate croissants and read Edgar Allan Poe by the fireplace in an ominous Victorian mansion during a full moon on a cool October night?

Are there other rangoons that we're missing out on? Is there taco rangoon? Pepperoni rangoon? Hash brown rangoon? I have a right to know and so do you.

You don't have to judge Columbus by the standards of today. His tenure as governor of Hispaniola was so horrific that he was dragged back to Spain in chains to answer for his many crimes. Plus he never set foot on any land that would ever be a part of the United States of America.

How many ways does he have to show he doesn’t give a damn about working folks?! Troops invading states. Sleeping kids woken up & zip-tied. Prices soaring. Insurance through the roof. Media muzzled. Personal enemies punished. This isn’t America. This is what authoritarian rot looks like.

The show I am stage managing that was opening this weekend has been postponed until the end of October. Definitely not how I expected things to go.

As end-of-empire scenarios go it is so much more dignified to get your capital city sacked by the Visigoths than to have a bunch of illiterate rich people in their 70s doing it through a series of incomprehensible tantrums because their brains were defeated by their phones.

I've been stage managing another show, which means I constantly have Seussical stuck in my head.

At the end of the day, don’t we all just want a sweet treat, a bookshelf with a rolling ladder, and some precedented times?

An IV hates to see my veins coming. Had to go to the IV specialist, get a small needle, get warmed up, and still try twice to get the IV in!

Hustle culture? No thanks. I'm more partial to "exploring quaint independent bookstores on rainy days" culture.

I am grieving the barbarism that is going to unfurl from all this. People are going to die. Livelihoods gone. All to feed a corrupt kleptocracy. I see every day up close how different it is from the first time around. There are no guardrails. A disaster. I’m sorry we have to live through this.

It has a very real chance of failing—and *even if it passes with changes* it still has to go BACK to the Senate to get voted on AGAIN. And it barely made it through the first time This thing is way more killable than you’d think and the longer we can drag out the process the more killable it gets
