I stopped watching old L&O episodes because fucking Rudy Giuliani showed up in one episode to introduce a new DA, but I'll get back into modern L&O if Zohran Mamdani makes a cameo to explain that deceased actor Steven Hill has returned to serve as the city's DA once again.

This came up on my instagram, and it seems like it’s real, so I’m gonna need everyone to give me a minute while I work out the parody lyrics to my new song “Defying Megatron.”

Were people aware of this? Kate Mara is really Kate Rooney Mara, and Rooney Mara is Patricia Rooney Mara? I don't think this should be allowed.

I've been rewatching Zeta Gundam, and even though I know why they did it and I think subtlety is overrated, giving the Federation Zaku-like suits and giving the AEUG a White Base-like ship is silly. Also, Kamille is a girl's name and Quattro reminds me of this guy Char Aznable. 🤔

I bought a PS5 when I saw how expensive the Switch 2 was going to be (and Xbox is dead as a platform), so now that I've finished DS2 (masterpiece), I'm checking out some PS exclusives I never played. I just finished The Last Of Us, and here's my hot take: It's good. Gameplay shows its age a lot.

It's dumb and gross that this exists. If you're going to force out the original creator, make a new game. Don't just make his game again so you can keep selling it without his name on it. And that's only partially because I was also someone who was unfairly let go from a job I did for a long time.

I would pay $1m to see Norman Reedus mocapping the bit where Sam tries to throw away the apple core.

It's all still too fresh, and there's a lot of processing to do, but what's certain is that I'm glad my two years at IGN ended with a review of the new Naked Gun.

I've had a bad week, but the apparent death of G/O Media is a bright spot. I hope its corpse is buried as close to hell as possible. And there's also something perfect about announcing an "epilogue" while still desperately clutching The Root, the only website it seemed like they ever cared about.
