I’ve read YES! for the past 25 years, and am grateful for its decades of powerful media-making, and its guiding light in the realm of solutions journalism. Such a sad loss.💔

I published this piece for @theflytrapmedia.com in January. It is now May and YES! is sunsetting. I will soon share more about the amazing team running this publication and how we can support them in their next chapters. But for now, I am in deep grief. Indie media simply deserves better.

While the Supreme Court has gone conservative, that doesn’t have to be the end of the world for liberal activists. History shows that grassroots public pressure and cultural change can make a difference in its rulings—even now.
